How to try on LinkedIn Private Mode (Browse in Underground!)

LinkedIn shows me who has viewed and accessed my profile. This is something I love about LinkedIn. One thing I dislike about LinkedIn is the inability to view someone’s profile without their permission. That’s what I believed. I didn’t know LinkedIn Private Mode was available that’s why initially I was searching about can I block someone on LinkedIn on Google.

This allows you to see other people’s profiles and makes it easy for anyone to see yours. You can easily change to Private Mode your settings, so whether you’re looking at a LinkedIn business page or the profile of a former coworker, it’s simple to choose if they’d like to know about your visit.

LinkedIn is my favorite social media platform. I feel the most productive of all. It doesn’t matter if I connect to an old colleague or share my thoughts and expertise through an article. There’s so much more than applying for open jobs.

Click Privacy & Settings.

 

Click the profile picture icon at the top to activate LinkedIn Private Mode. Next, navigate to Settings and Privacy. What do others think about your LinkedIn activity Scroll down to the middle of the page and locate the heading.

How do other people see your LinkedIn activity?

 

 

Next, click Edit. The first header is Profile viewing choices.

Choose your browsing mode.

 

This drop-down will show you the options available for your browsing mode. If you select private mode, your profile will appear as an “Anonymous LinkedIn member.” This option will not share any other information with the LinkedIn user whose profiles you are viewing.

You can also choose private profile characteristics. You can choose to display your industry, job title, school, and company. It would say” Marketing Specialist at Google Crowd,” in my case, when I look at someone’s profile.

It’s as if you never existed.

 

These are the steps you need to follow to enable LinkedIn Private Mode. It doesn’t matter if you are doing it professionally or simply to see what your friend is up to.
